I’ve posted from this series before, but I think this may be the last one. She quit escorting, so I don’t know what she does now. I sort of hope she keeps writing, but the problem is that she’s gone under a pseudonym for so long and if she were to write non-anonymously for McSweeny’s I wouldn’t actually know.
Just one more after tonight. Playoffs start Friday at either 5:07 or 8:37.
Let’s hope its 5:07, the late game’s in New York.
The Rangers are one game ahead of the Tigers for the #2 seed. So, basically, the Tigers need to win both remaining games if they want a real shot at hosting a division series. If the Tigers win and the Rangers lose tonight, its a tie, and the Tigers hold the tiebreaker, meaning a win tomorrow would guarantee them the higher seed regardless of what the Rangers do. If the Tigers and Rangers both win or both lose tonight, then tomorrow the Tigers will need a win and a Rangers loss to get the #2 seed. It’d be nice to see a Tigers win and a Texas loss tonight so that the Tigers control their destiny on the final day of the season.
The game’s a little delayed by rain, but they’re taking the tarp off the field, which means they’re playing baseball soon, and I can pretty much guarantee you they play this whole game tonight, even if there’s a huge rain delay in the middle of it.
Compared the just-announced ALCS schedule to the Michigan football schedule. Two overlaps: Game 1, Oct 8th, Michigan is at Northwestern at night. Game 6, Oct 15th, Michigan is at Michigan State at some point.
